1. Data controller
Dopply AB (company reg. no. 556949-9345), Åge Tuas väg 17, 247 72 Genarp, Sweden, is the controller responsible for the processing of personal data on dopply.com. If you have questions about how we handle your data, contact us at info@dopply.com.
2. What data we collect and why
a) Quote and contact forms
When you submit a quote request or a contact message, we process the information you provide: email address, name, company, message, the selected language pair, and any document you upload.
- Purpose: to respond to your request and provide a quote.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a possible contract.
- Uploaded documents are stored temporarily with our infrastructure provider (see section 4) and are deleted automatically after 30 days.
b) Google Analytics 4 (web analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate geographic location, device type). This sets cookies.
- Purpose: to improve the website.
- Legal basis: your consent. Google Analytics is only activated if you accept it in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7).
c) Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection)
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses visitor behaviour to tell humans apart from bots. reCAPTCHA sets a cookie and collects certain device and usage data that is sent to Google.
- Purpose: to protect the forms against abuse and spam.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping our services secure. reCAPTCHA is necessary for the forms to function.

You control analytics cookies through the cookie banner on your first visit and can change your choice at any time.
4. Recipients and processors
We share data with providers that process it on our behalf:
- Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA): web analytics and spam protection.
- Vercel: web hosting and temporary file storage for uploaded documents.
- Inleed: Swedish email provider that handles the emails generated by the forms.
We never sell your data.
5. Transfers to third countries
Google and Vercel may process data in the United States. Such transfers are made under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Google LLC is certified under the framework (European Commission implementing decision (EU) 2023/1795), and where required, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). Emails generated by the forms are handled by Inleed, a Swedish provider with data processing within the EU.
6. How long we keep data
- Uploaded documents: deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Quote and contact emails: kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and any business relationship, then erased.
- Google Analytics data: per Google's default setting: event data for up to 14 months, user-level data deleted after 2 months.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- request a copy of the data we hold about you,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- request erasure ("the right to be forgotten"),
- request restriction of, or object to, the processing,
- receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability),
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time.

8. Complaints
If you believe we process your data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
